Some Autonomic Drugs on the Isolated Auricle of the Frog

Abstract

|
|
Pharmacological applicability of the iso]ated auricle of the frog was examined. In this Preparation acetylcholine, epinephrine, norepinephrine, atropine, eserine, dichloroisoproterenol, and nethalide behaved as in the auricle of the warm-blooded animal. Dimetllylphenylpiperazinium caused only an increase of amplitude. It seemed the isolated auricle of the frog can be used in pharma-cological investigation as far as concerning the autonomic drugs.
